EVAN FARMER - TLC HOST
Evan Farmer brings a diverse array of talents to TLC's WHILE YOU WERE OUT as the host of the hit home design series. In addition to his music career and roles on screens large and small, Evan studied architecture at Tulane University and has worked as both a draftsman and as a graphic designer for several firms. He also recently started his own business (Renovolution) renovating single-family homes, and has a strong interest in carpentry and design. He also recorded the lead vocals for the soundtrack and follow-up album, which together went platinum worldwide. Evan has also guest hosted MTV's Total Request Live with Carson Daly, the cable network's most-watched television show. The popularity of 2GE+HER led Evan to an even bigger showcase for his talent — as the opening act for Britney Spears during her 2000 "Oops I Did It Again" summer tour. Evan also previously toured with the hit Russian pop rock group NA-NA, where he sang and played guitar in sold-out arenas throughout Russia. Evan also has a film career, and has acted in films such as Austin Powers 3: Goldmember, and Shaft Returns starring Samuel L. Jackson.
