Celebrity Chef Sunny Anderson Launches Holiday Cookie Pledge Drive for Deployed U.S. Troops
For the hundreds of thousands of deployed troops away from friends and family during the holidays, nothing says
“home sweet home” like a box of cookies.
This holiday season, Kenmore “Baking for the Troops” is sending 250,000 cookies overseas to remind troops they are appreciated.
Kenmore is encouraging Americans to simply pledge a dozen cookies on the Kenmore Facebook page and they will send encouraging messages with sweet treats to individual troops on their behalf. When 250,000 cookies have been pledged, Kenmore will donate $50,000 to Heroes at Home to support military families on the home front.
Pledge a dozen cookies to a deployed military person by joining the Kenmore “Baking for the Troops” conversation at http://www.facebook.com/kenmore.
