David Archuleta - "A CAPITOL FOURTH TURNS 30!"
This July 4th, America’s national Independence Day celebration will mark 30 spectacular years on the air. The multi-award-winning A Capitol Fourth  will broadcast live from the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol; Kicking off  the country’s 234th birthday with a musical extravaganza like no other and  topped off by the most dazzling display of fireworks anywhere in the nation. The 30th anniversary broadcast of A Capitol Fourth will be hosted by  award-winning actor Jimmy Smits with unrivaled performances from some of the country’s biggest musical names including: Reba McEntire; Darius Rucker; Lang Lang with the National Symphony Orchestra under the direction  of Jack Everly (additional talent to be announced). A Capitol Fourth will  air live in high definition on PBS Sunday, July 4, 2010, from 8:00 to 9:30  p.m. ET (check local listings) David James Archuleta (born December 28, 1990) is an American pop singer-songwriter, best selling author and occasional actor. At ten years old he won the children's division of the Utah Talent Competition leading to other television singing appearances. When he was twelve years old, Archuleta became the Junior Vocal Champion on Star Search  In 2007, at sixteen years old, he became one of the youngest contestants on the seventh season of American Idol. In May 2008 he finished as the runner-up, receiving 44 percent of over 97 million votes. In August 2008 Archuleta released "Crush," the first single from his self-titled debut album. The album, released two months later, debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 chart; it has sold over 750,000 copies in the U.S. and over 900,000 Worldwide.

Rabbi Irwin Kula  - "Independence Day"


A renowned thinker, teacher, and rabbi, he is the author of Yearnings: Embracing the Sacred Messiness of Life (Hyperion, Sept. 2006) winner of a "Books for a Better Life" award, and selected by Spirituality & Health magazine as one the "10 Best Spiritual Books of 2006" and was featured in a national public TV pledge special, "The Hidden Wisdom of Our Yearnings."
